Competition
Competitions will take place in venues carefully selected to provide the best possible conditions for athletes and spectators alike. Each site reflects the host country’s commitment to university sport, offering high-quality facilities in a setting designed for international events.
Competition format
Teams will be split into 4 pools and play a round-robin phase, followed by an elimination game starting with play-ins for the quarterfinals. Only gold medal and bronze medal games shall be played. All other teams will be ranked according to the Official 3×3 Basketball Rules.
Venues

Competition Venue: The Ruins of St. Paul‘s
The Ruins of St. Paul’s is Macau‘s most iconic landmark and a UNESCO World Heritage site, serving as the city’s defining symbol.
The site has hosted major sporting events, including the “3×3 Greater Bay Area Tour” Finals in 2024 and 2025.
Training Venue:Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion
Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion is an indoor sports venue situated next to the Tap Seac Square, and surrounded by historic buildings from the 1920s. The venue provides a comprehensive range of rooms and facilities to support the competition operations:
- Changing rooms
- Warm up area
